I. Preparations Before Installation

1. Inspect the support seat: Ensure that the support seat is undamaged, especially the bearings and seals should be intact.

2. Cleaning work: Before installation, keep the support base and the working environment clean to prevent dust and debris from entering the interior of the support base.

3. Lubrication Preparation: An appropriate amount of grease is usually injected into the interior of the support seat. However, during long-term use, the lubricating oil should be regularly inspected and replenished to ensure the smooth operation of the machinery.

4. Select the appropriate support seat model ‌ : according to the model and specification of the ball screw, choose the matching support seat model ‌. ‌

Ii. Installation Steps

1. The installation sequence of ‌ must be correct ‌ : first, combine the fixed-end screw support seat with the screw, paying attention to the fit between the bearing and the shaft diameter dimensions. The screw support seat parts are integrated and cannot be disassembled during installation. After inserting the fixed-end screw support seat and the spacer ring into the screw, lock them with the provided nuts and then fix them with the hexagonal stop screws. Before fixing, insert the included copper sheet into the nut for fixation.

2. Fixation of ‌ and slide table ‌ : Slightly fix the ball screw to the surface of the slide table, confirm the parallelism between the slide rail of the slide table and the ball screw, and lock and fix the fixed end and the supporting end. Finally, push the slide to both ends of the stroke to confirm the smoothness of the ball screw, and then lock and fix the screw to the slide ‌.

3. confirm accuracy: Measure the accuracy of the fixed end and the supporting end of the screw support seat to ensure the accuracy of installation.

4. Connection between ‌ and motor ‌ : Pay attention to accuracy during installation. After installation, conduct a running test to ensure there are no errors.

Iii. Inspection after installation

After installation is completed, a thorough test run should be conducted to confirm the installation accuracy of the screw support seat and the smoothness of mechanical operation. Then, use measuring tools such as a dial indicator to check the amplitude and backlash at the fixed end and support end of the screw support seat again to ensure that the design requirements are met.
